How we use your email
This page covers the Sparegrove waitlist. Last updated October 25, 2026.
What we collect
Your email address and ZIP code, whether you said you have things to give or sell, the date you joined, and which link or ad brought you here (if any).
What we use it for
To tell you when Sparegrove opens near you, to decide which neighborhoods open first, and for occasional Sparegrove news: early-access and founding-neighbor invites, launch updates, and short surveys about what you'd use it for. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We don't sell your details, we don't use them for advertising, and we never upload them to Facebook, Google or any other ad platform. We may share totals by area (like "300 neighbors in Richfield have joined"), never anything about you.
Where it's kept
In a private Google Sheet that only Sparegrove can open. When Sparegrove opens, we may move it into Sparegrove itself for the same purpose.
We use a few service providers to run this: Google (the Sheet, the signup form and analytics), Cloudflare (the website and email forwarding), and later an email service to send our emails and a hosting provider for the Sparegrove app. They store or process your details only on our behalf and can't use them for anything else.
We keep your details until you join Sparegrove, unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. If Sparegrove becomes part of another company, including our own business entity, your details move with it under this same promise.
Visits to this page
We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which links bring people here. Google Analytics sets cookies and sends Google details about your visit, like the pages you view, your device and browser, and your rough location. It never gets your email or ZIP code. We've turned off Google's advertising features. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses no cookies. You can block Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on or any ad blocker, and the waitlist still works. The page doesn't change its behavior for browser Do Not Track signals; the opt-out add-on is the way to turn it off.
Getting removed
Email [email protected] and we'll delete your details within 45 days, usually much sooner. Every email we send will also have an unsubscribe link.
Changes to this page
If we change this page, we'll update the date at the top. If a change would let us use details you've already given us in a new way, we'll email you first and ask, and we won't make that change for you unless you say yes.
Who it's for
The waitlist is for adults. Please don't sign up if you're under 18.
